I really like these surreal paintings. There are so many of them!
I love plants and animals, sliced and dissected things, and taxidermy.
I also am intrigued by the choice of leaving a plain white background.

Mannequin Hands

I am starting a massive collection of mannequin parts, let me know if you have any to spare. Count so far: 2.

These are the best microscopic pictures from 2008. If microscopic cameras weren't billions of dollars I would totally buy one. Also, if anyone knows how to get a job being a nanophotographer please let me know.

The Jets

Can this be my theme song? It simultaneously reminds me of riding in the back of someone's minivan with my cousins and playing on the swingset in the backyard with neighbor kids. Also I have A Crush On You. And I might own this single on vinyl. AAAND they somehow snuck this track onto the muzak at work to play 2 or 3 times a week.

I'm Lovin' It.

Okay so don't tell anyone but I am secretly obsessed with McDonald's new iced coffee.
Now I know you are wondering "How?" And let me tell you...we are all guilty of doing the late night drive through sometimes. And I happened to be needing additional caffeine in one of these rare instances and ordered one out of desperation and convenience. Boy Howdy. These things are better than an iced Starbucks. Yes sugary, yes milky, no, not a genuine coffee for the connoisseur. However, they are perfect for a sugary caffeine treat. I am also guilty of buying them and putting them in my own cups so I don't have to sport a McDonalds cup.
Guilty on all charges.

Big Loves and Holy Craps

Started watching Big Love last night and stayed up all night. Maybe my body had just been craving a good solid 7 hour tv-on-dvd marathon or maybe this show brings a unique and fresh perspective to the tv dinner table. I think it is rather successful in exposing the lives of cult-ish religionist and the extremities of the Mormon religion in Utah in a non abrasive and non judgmental light. I can not wait to zip through the rest of this series...I hope she doesn't disappoint me.

Daily Art Dose

I am always looking for blogs that post art works everyday. Not a lot of garblty gook about them, just a painting or a picture to inspire.
